Starting this summer, ALL students will be required to complete a Student Enrollment Agreement (SEA) form in order to register for classes. The SEA requires students to agree with NSU standards and policies regarding course registration and withdrawal, financial responsibility, a release of liability, and more. Students registering for courses will be prompted to complete the form as part of the registration process on SharklinkandWebStar.
To complete the SEA, follow the steps below once registration has opened:
Locate theRecords & Academicssection on the student tab and click onCourse Information.
SelectRegistration-Add/Dropto access the SEA.
You may proceed to register as usual.
AGAIN ALL Students must complete the SEA or course registration will not occur. For more information, please see the Registrar's FAQs.
NEW ONLINE STUDENT TRANSACTION FORM FOR NSU EMPLOYEES
Any employees who need to register may now utilize an online Student Transaction Form instead of submitting a paper form to the program office. These forms are received by the Registrar's office and are processed faster than the paper forms.
Online Courses (CZMT, MAMC, and Graduate Certificates only)
For in-house students wishing to take an online course:
Students learning from a distance have priority in these courses. These courses are not open until 2 weeks after registration begins (for elective courses) and 2 weeks before start of term (for core courses).
In order to ease in-house registration for these courses, we have created an in-house student “waitlist” section. In-house students register under the waitlist course. After online students finish their registration process, we will open the regular course to those in the waitlist section.
As usual, this is a first-come, first-serve situation. However, if an online student needs to register during this entire process, it is possible that waitlisted students with high numbers will be bumped from the course.
If this should happen, the student will receive an email to their nova.edu email address. Any questions can be sent to email@example.com.
