Seagrass Lab

Dr. Bernhard Riegl


I manage the USGS Seagrass Ecology laboratory. Our lab samples seagrass beds throughout Southern Florida, collecting samples of seagrass-associated fish and invertebrates as part of the Fish and Invertebrate Assessment Network (FIAN). The project goals are to establish pre-restoration baseline data for the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Project (CERP).
